Plant Design Administrator Overview

Plant Design Administrator is mainly a tool for managing Smap3D Plant Design settings, but it also allows the user to install Smap3D Standard Parts Libraries.

Due to the fact the settings can influence the behavior of the whole system, Plant Design Administrator can be password protected.

It is strongly recommended to close all Smap3D applications before making any changes using Plant Design Administrator.

The settings available within the Settings section are combined into the groups (can be selected via the navigator) listed below:

The commands within the main toolbar of the Settings section affect the entire settings (all groups) and are the following:

Save - saves the settings

Refresh - reloads the settings stored in the PDGlobalSettings.pdsx file (see Basic settings for details)

Defaults - sets the settings to their defaults

Reset - resets the settings (sets the defaults)
