Coordinate System Wizard Overview

Smap3D Coordinate System Wizard is a tool designed to assist the users to complete their custom piping parts (typically) by creating specific coordinate systems and axes without the risk of misspelling coordinate system names.

Such coordinate systems and axes are necessary for the parts which are intended to be used by Smap3D Piping for generating pipelines.

For some coordinate system types (determined by the coordinate system name) a CSInfo (a set of information incidental to the specific coordinate system) can be set.

This information can be further used for the purposes of Smap3D Piping design checks, proper component placing (e.g. due to flow direction), etc.

Also other Smap3D Plant Design applications, such as Isometric and PCFExport, use the information given by the coordinate system positions, names, and CSInfo.
