Deleting Piping Objects

Smap3D Piping provides several commands for deleting objects.

Delete Pipe(s)

Delete pipe(s) deletes all the pipes generated over the selected pipeline path(s) or those selected individually.

The command is available in the toolbar (within the Delete drop-down), when some pipe or pipeline path is selected or context menu (launched over a pipeline path or pipe).

Delete Components

Delete components deletes all components (pipes, fittings, insulations) placed to the selected pipeline path(s) using Piping as well as the pipe specification assignment. Click to expand

The fittings placed without using Smap3D Piping are kept unchanged.

Delete Components is available in the toolbar (within the Delete drop-down), when some pipe or pipeline path is selected or context menu (launched over a pipeline path).

Delete All

These commands delete all Pipes, Parts, and Insulations created and placed using Smap3D Piping within the active assembly.

The Delete All commands are available in the Smap3D Piping toolbar.

Delete Unit(s)

Delete unit(s) deletes fittings constrained together with the selected fitting(s) (e.g. a tee with gaskets and flanges).

The command is available in the context menu launched over a fitting.

After launching the command a unit is highlighted and the user is prompted to confirm the deleting process.

Delete

Delete (available in context menu) allows to erase all Piping components (pipes, fittings, insulations and pipeline paths).

To delete the required entity just select it in the Piping tree view and launch Delete from context menu (or press the Delete key).

Delete applied on a pipeline path deletes it including all its components (those generated/placed using Smap3D Piping).
