Recalculating a Region

Compared to the Recalculate pipelines, the Recalculate region command recalculates only a region of the selected component.

The region is defined by straight parts of pipelines connected to the component.

That means, region is typically bounded by bends/elbows, tees (for branch lines), or pipeline path ends.

The Recalculate region command is beneficial especially when there have been some minor and bounded changes made on a large pipeline.

It recalculates only the affected region, not the entire pipeline (such a process may be time consuming and unnecessary).

How to recalculate a region

Select a component defining the region you want to recalculate.

Click the Recalculate region command in the context menu displayed for the selected component within the Piping tree view.
